Terms of Service

Acceptance

By downloading or using SiteSpin, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

SiteSpin is an AI-powered website builder. You describe your business in a chat, and SiteSpin generates a custom website for you. Every website comes with a yourname.sitespin.app address. Pro and Pro Multisite subscribers can also connect a custom domain they already own.

Your account

SiteSpin creates an anonymous account for you the first time you open the app. You can convert this into a full account by signing in with Apple, Google, or a one-time code sent to your email when you publish your first website. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use SiteSpin to create, publish, or upload content that:

  • is sexually explicit, pornographic, or constitutes child sexual abuse material;
  • promotes gambling, illegal substances, drug trafficking, tobacco, vaping, or alcohol;
  • incites violence, harasses, threatens, or contains hate speech or discrimination based on protected characteristics;
  • impersonates another person, business, or entity;
  • is fraudulent, deceptive, or used for phishing or scams;
  • distributes malware, ransomware, or any malicious code;
  • infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights;
  • violates the privacy of others or exposes their personal information;
  • promotes or facilitates illegal activities or weapons.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Reports submitted via our report form are reviewed within 24 hours. Sites that violate this policy are unpublished and the responsible accounts are suspended. Repeat violations result in permanent account termination.

We reserve the right to refuse generation requests, remove published websites, suspend accounts, and terminate accounts that violate these rules at our sole discretion.

Fair use of editing

Editing your website by chat is unlimited in normal use. To keep the service fast for everyone and to stop automated abuse, we apply a fair-use limit to how many changes one account can make in any rolling 24-hour period: 30 on Pro and 100 on Pro Multisite. During a free trial the limit is the one that applies to the plan you are trialling. Editing is not available on the free plan.

The limit is counted per account across all of your websites, not per website, and it covers both the changes you ask for in chat and changes to your site's style, such as a new palette or typeface.

The window is rolling rather than daily: each change stops counting twenty-four hours after you made it, so capacity returns gradually rather than all at once. Changes that fail, and replies that do not alter your site, are not counted against the limit.

The limit is set well above what building and maintaining a website takes, and you will not meet it through ordinary use. If you have a genuine reason to need more, contact us and we will sort it out.

Your content

You own everything you put into SiteSpin and everything we generate from your inputs. By publishing a website to a sitespin.app subdomain, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, serve, and display that website while it is published.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to publish that content and that it does not violate the Acceptable Use Policy or any law.

AI-generated content

SiteSpin uses Anthropic Claude to generate website copy, choose layouts, and select images. AI output may contain factual errors, inaccuracies, dated information, or inadvertent similarity to existing material. You are responsible for reviewing your generated website before publishing. We do not warrant that generated content is accurate, fit for a particular purpose, original, or non-infringing.

Some site features (image classification, theming, content drafting) involve automated decision-making by Claude. Under GDPR Article 22, EU residents may request human review of any output by emailing support@sitespin.app.

SiteSpin respects copyright. To submit a DMCA takedown notice for content hosted on a sitespin.app subdomain, send a written notice that includes:

  • a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised representative;
  • identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  • the URL of the infringing material;
  • your contact information (name, address, telephone, email);
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the copyright owner.

Send notices to our designated agent at support@sitespin.app. If we remove your content in response to a notice, we will notify you and forward the takedown notice. You may file a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g); if we receive one we will restore the content within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant files suit. Repeat infringers receive permanent account suspension.

Reporting and takedown

Anyone may report a published SiteSpin site at sitespin.app/report. We review reports within 24 hours. Sites that violate the Acceptable Use Policy are unpublished. Severe violations result in immediate account suspension and permanent termination.

Subscriptions and billing

SiteSpin Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription, either through Apple in-app purchase in the iPhone or iPad app, or through our web checkout at sitespin.app. The current price is $24.99 per month or $239.99 per year. For purchases made in the app, Apple is the merchant of record; for purchases made on the web, payment is processed by RevenueCat Web Billing (using Stripe).

SiteSpin Pro Multisite is sold as an auto-renewing subscription on the web at $99 per month for 5 sites in one workspace, or $999 per year (a 16% annual discount). Workspaces above 5 sites are available via a custom sales contract.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you subscribed via the iPhone or iPad app, cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. If you subscribed on the web, open your SiteSpin account settings and manage the subscription from there. Refunds for Apple in-app purchases are handled directly by Apple under their refund policy. See our help page for instructions.

The domain included with your subscription

Paid subscriptions include one domain name, registered for you at our cost. It is registered in your name, not ours: you are the registrant, and the registration is yours to keep, transfer, or renew yourself. We pay the renewal each year for as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription ends we stop paying for it; the registration itself is untouched and runs to its expiry date, after which it lapses unless you renew it elsewhere. We do not reclaim it.

One domain is included per subscription, not per website. Renewal is best effort rather than a guarantee: we begin renewing thirty days before expiry and will tell you if we cannot.

ICANN rules require the registrant of a domain to be a real, contactable person, and require you to confirm your email address after registration. We will tell you when that confirmation email is coming and who it is from. If nobody confirms it, the registry suspends the domain. That is the registry's rule, not ours, and it is not something we can waive.

You are responsible for what you register. SiteSpin does not review, approve, or police the names customers choose. A domain name can infringe a trademark or another party's rights, and registering one through us does not mean we have checked that it does not. Domain registries and ICANN operate their own dispute processes, including the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy, and a decision reached under those processes is binding on the registration regardless of anything in these terms. If a name you register is disputed, that dispute is between you and the complainant.

A newly registered domain cannot be transferred to another registrar for sixty days. That is a registry lock, applied by ICANN rules to every new registration, and it applies here for the same reason it applies everywhere else. After it lifts, ask us for the transfer code and we will send it to your registrant address.

Trials and lapses

New accounts start with a free trial. After the trial, an active Pro or Pro Multisite subscription is required to build a website, to keep it online, and to keep editing it. A trial may require a payment method and converts to a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel before then. If your subscription ends, your website stays online for a short grace period while we send reminders, then it is taken offline until you subscribe again. We keep your website and its content while your account exists, so subscribing again brings it back. Deleting your account removes your content as described under Termination.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time in SiteSpin (web or app): Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and removes all associated content. Active subscriptions continue to renew until you cancel them. If you subscribed via the iPhone or iPad app, cancel in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; we cannot cancel Apple in-app purchase subscriptions on your behalf. If you subscribed on the web, open your SiteSpin account settings and manage the subscription from there. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may suspend accounts immediately for serious violations, and with notice for less serious ones.

Limitation of liability

SiteSpin is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold SiteSpin harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of content you publish, your violation of these terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. We will announce material changes in SiteSpin (web or app), and continuing to use SiteSpin after an update means you accept the updated terms.
